Hi everyone! I know it’s been a really long time since I’ve posted anything, but I’ve been incredibly busy lately. But anyway I just finished An Abundance of Katherine’s by John Green, and to be totally honest, I was kind of disappointed. Although the book was still amazing, it wasn’t really up to Green’s usual level of awesomeness.
An Abundance of Katherine’s is about a boy named Colin Singleton who is a child-prodigy and has only ever dated Katherine’s. Nineteen of them to be exact, but once Katherine XIX breaks up with him, he goes on a road trip with his best friend. While on this road trip he meets Lindsay Lee Wells, and in a not so shocking turn of events, the chain of Katherine’s is finally broken, and Colin and Lindsay end up together. Now I’m not saying that the book was terrible because it wasn’t but what I am trying to say is that you probably shouldn’t start reading this book under the impression that it is yet another amazing John Green book with some kind of earth-shattering plot twist that makes you question your entire life and everything you have ever lived for, like I did. Again though, the book was well written and still worth the time it took to read it, it just wasn’t everything that all of Green’s other books were.
